Whenever you visit a blog’s comment section, do you notice how some comments include a photo of the commenter – but other comments only have that grey silhouette mystery box?
When you can see a commenter’s image, that means he or she created a free account with Gravatar. The user’s image follows the commenter from site to site, appearing beside the user’s name for each comment or post on a blog.
Want influencers and potential readers to recognize you? Then you should use a Gravatar.
How to set up your Gravatar
It’s simple and it’s free.
- Go to Gravatar’s website: http://gravatar.com/
- Signup with the email that you use most often to comment.
- Add your author photo.
Post a comment below to show off your Gravatar!
NEXT: I’ll teach you how to create something that calls for direct engagement from your readers.
