Hey there – Chris Well here with an important update about the future of DIY Author.
I have recently accepted a position as senior editor with a media company that includes magazine, radio, and Internet brands. This is an exciting opportunity for me to help this company to expand and serve new audiences.
However, this new role now takes up all my professional time. As such, I must transition out of my role as editor of DIY Author. Over the summer, I’ll wrap up a few remaining projects, but other than that you won’t be seeing much of me.
By way of this email, I’d like to introduce you to the owner of DIY Author, Rick Edwards. Rick is a writer, editor, and publishing veteran who believes in the power of ideas and in the power of stories. He believes in the work we’ve accomplished through DIY Author and intends to see the brand continue and grow in the days ahead. Rick has been behind-the-scenes up to now, but he’ll be taking a more visible role with DIY Author.
What does this mean for you and me? If you’re in one of DIY Author’s marketing tracks, you may still hear from me now and again over the coming weeks. Otherwise, I’m leaving it all up to Rick.
I wish Rick the best with DIY Author. And I wish you the best with your writing and publishing!
